The 3rd and final test

Friday 31 March 2006 the third and final cricket test match between South Africa and the Australia will take place at the "Bullring" also known as the Wanderers.
This is the venue of the now famous one day world record won by South Africa. As I mentioned in my first blog Cricket World Record for South Africa no matter what transpired thereafter South Africa would still have this record.
It has helped soften the mortal blows that the Aussies are handing out, but my boys are , well that is it only BOYS!!!!!!
It is often said that the traveling side can't wait to go home, but I think that it is the SA players who are praying, but at the same time wondering about their careers and the fantastic salaries they receive. I think that many of them should try repping pile cream.
I am sure that the crowds will stay away again and if that is not sending the message to those above, well carry on regardless.

DARK HORIZON

We can complain about the bad light, it was dark and maybe we should have been offered the light. Well the dark horizon is the state of South African cricket. Andre Nel's outburst with Gilly was over the top and I hope that he receives a fitting punishment.

It is all very well to wear your heart on your sleeve, however, what about keeping your head on your shoulders????

Better to have kept your mouth closed and look stupid, than open it and remove all doubt, well worn but apt in this case.

The good news is that the Aussies only have one more test and then they can go and beat someone else and we can make the usual excuses , new side, inexperienced, World Cup 2007 and with a bit of luck A NEW ONE!!!!

Much of the same thing

Day four and the white flag is up. Please we must stop believing that we can compete with the Aussies at cricket.

We can't and they don't say that it is hard to travel and all the usual bull.

I have to give the Aussies credit and may they continue to play exciting cricket.

Go Aussie GO

Day1 in Durban 2nd Test

South Africa is at it again, dropping catches when will it stop. Ponting has had two chances and a missed runout opportunity. Can't win games like this!!!

Latest score after lunch 86 for 1.

Please the Sharks , rugby, also lost the plot this morning and managed to lose against the Hurricanes when they should have won.

It appears as if the South African sportsmen have no belief in themselves, barring the odd sportsperson, like those at the Commonwealth Games.

Durban 2nd Test

The Proteas have a chance to redeem themselves and make all South Africans proud again.

Pollock is back hopefully and Shane has been "giving us a go as usual". Today's joke is Warnie didn't play cricket what would he do?????????????????????????//

Wanking!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Captain Smith less talking and more playing please. Remember you players get paid large sums of money whether you win, lose or play rubbish, we don't have that luxury.

Try harder and remember that the tide may effect the pitch as folklore has it.

WE WERE WHIPPED

Well the euphoria is over and the best team won, darn those AUSSIES. Lost within three day, that will not help ticket sales and morale.

What is the problem and ideas post your views.

Come on boys make them work for the win, please.
